雪の足跡

A long breath rose up and dissolved in a wintry sky
In the limpid air my heart is cleansed and goes back
At times we stopped, or went out of our way but

The snow started to fall and blanketed the surroundings
Softly and gently embracing us

Because you were there, I can still face the future and move on

Along the path snowdrops bloom on the treetops
The ground is a white canvas being doodled
Cold hands squeezing to warm each other

If we look back to our footprints forming a line
We'd smile at seeing the ones where we fell On a winter day

Forever hand in hand
Let's step on firmly, like this

The snow lying thick and our white footprints
We will draw them forever, the two of us

Silently, we seem to draw closer
A little bit slower, let's go home together
